[Sunday News] Reporter Park Chang-sik = Korea Agricultural and Fisheries Food Distribution Corporation (President Lee Byung-ho, hereinafter aT) announced on August 8 that it held a sales road show to expand exports of agricultural foods in New South and New North Korea from September 30 to October 5. . According to aT, the sales road show takes the form of export consultations with local import buyers and domestic exporters. The road show attracted 85 buyers and 15 exporters in Cambodia, Myanmar, Mongolia and Russia in six days. 184 consultations resulted in a total of $ 4.9 million in consultations, including $ 1 million of citron tea, $ 680,000 of juice, $ 240,000 of porridge, and $ 180,000 of citrus. At the Cambodia-Myanmar Export Conference, freshly flavored products such as citron tea, citrus fruits and Hallabong were popular. Cambodia, which eats porridge as a substitute for breakfast, selected the simple porridge product as a promising item for export. Cambodian importer said, “If high-quality Korean agri-food enters the premium market, the market expansion is very likely.”  In Mongolia-Russia, ‘fresh pear’ was evaluated as a premium fruit for gift with crispy texture and high sugar content. Tteokbokki, ramen, and fruit drinks also attracted buyers’ attention. An official from a Korean distributor in Mongolia said, “In addition to the Korean wave, there is a growing interest in K-FOOD, and sales of processed foods, foodstuffs, and sauces, including Korean ramen, are steadily rising.” We are looking at new earnings. ”
